lyrics

If you live near a hill
Frogs come into the living room
And a grasshopper chirrups on the clock

A dragonfly just passed through the house
I’m sitting here with just my pants on
Writing this poem

Holding the brush
Drawing careful strokes,
I’m writing about the way I live
When I complain of the people or the world
When I feel hate or dissatisfaction,
It means I haven’t yet got faith enough
In my own way of life

One’s own grief or happiness
Are like the wind
That bore the dragon fly away
I’m sitting at my desk like this
Hoping for a deeper understanding
